Please describe the problem.

When trying to add certain Youtube downloads to my annex, git annex addurl fails with

$ git annex addurl
git-annex: quvi failed

quvi get on the other hand works just fine, though.

I have run git annex with --debug and see that the last command executed is

quvi dump -p enum --verbosity verbose

Looking at its results (and the code), it looks like it parses QUVI_MEDIA_PROPERTY_TITLE. Failures with downloading occur for other URLs which have non-ASCII chars (here: „, “), too, so I assume that's where the bug could be hidden:

quvi dump -p enum --verbosity verbose
QUVI_MEDIA_PROPERTY_TITLE=Ganze Folge 1533 „Autsch!“ vom 07.06.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

See above.

What version of git-annex are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.

# If you can, paste a complete transcript of the problem occurring here.
# If the problem is with the git-annex assistant, paste in .git/annex/daemon.log

# End of transcript or log.

Have you had any luck using git-annex before? (Sometimes we get tired of reading bug reports all day and a lil' positive end note does wonders)

I love it. It has motivated me enough to start organizing my files spread on different machines, disks etc. at least a little :-)

fixed; quvi output is now parsed in a locale-independant manner. --Joey
