Please describe the problem.
I am trying to install git-annex on the Fairphone with Android/Termux.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
Running
$ source git-annex-install
What version of git-annex are you using? On what operating system?
Fairphone Open Android 6.0, Marshmallow

Running on Android.. Adding git-annex to PATH for you, and tuning for optimal behavior.

Have you had any luck using git-annex before? (Sometimes we get tired of reading bug reports all day and a lil' positive end note does wonders)
Yes! I use git-annex for many years now under Debian with no problems. Back when I recorded TV with my DVB-T card I used it to pushed files on external hard drives while being able to find them. I just now noticed
The arm build does seem the closest match for this architecture, that's what I would have tried too.
If you can find a way to get a debian chroot working in termux, that would point the way to getting git-annex working. https://wiki.termux.com/wiki/PRoot
Some Raspberry Pis seem to use arm7el, so maybe Raspbian if Debian doesn't work?
