NAME
git-annex transfers - display transfers
SYNOPSIS
git annex transfers
DESCRIPTION
A live view of files that are being transferred from and to remotes.
For example:
receive foo (from darkstar)
39% 569.1 MiB 2 MiB/s 6m24s
send bar (to darkstar)
Once a transfer ends, "done" is displayed at the end of its line. That does not necessarily mean that the transfer finished successfully.
The display of transfers continues until interrupted by eg pressing control-c.
OPTIONS
--localfilenames, '-l'Usually, the filename displayed by this command is the name provided by the initiator of the transfer. So it may not correspond to the name of the file in the currently checked out branch. For example, when git-annex-shell is sending a file from a server to a client, the client could have a branch checked out that uses a different name for the file. Some filenames also need to be mangled for security reasons, or reasons of backwards compatability with older versions of git-annex.
With this option, rather than displaying the filename provided with the transfer, display the name of a file in the locally checked out branch that corresponds to the git-annex key. If there is no such file, the key will be shown instead.
--jsonEnable JSON output. This is intended to be parsed by programs that use git-annex. Each line of output is a JSON object.
Note that display of these objects is deferred until a transfer ends. To get currently running transfers, combine this with
--json-progeess.--json-progressInclude progress objects in JSON output.
Also the git-annex-common-options(1) can be used.
